Keep it on the road

Rishon Motor Bay is an independent workshop, not a dealership lounge. We do oil, brakes, AC gas and Israel roadworthiness “test” prep on everyday cars that need to leave the same day if the parts are on the shelf.

Before you book

What we actually look at

A “quick look” here still means a written list. We start with the complaint you wrote on the job card, then we walk the car the way a test lane does: lights, tyres, leaks, and anything that will fail you on the day.

  • Oil level, colour and filter housing leaks — not just a sticker on the screen.
  • Pads, discs and handbrake hold on a slope, not a guess from the pedal.
  • AC gas performance at idle and in traffic, with a note if the system will not hold.
  • Test-prep items: horn, wipers, belts, exhaust smoke and obvious body hazards.
  • Stored fault codes after a road check, if the lamp is on or the idle is rough.

Drop-off

Three steps, then we take the key

  1. Book the ramp

Call or send the plate, the warning lamp, and a morning or afternoon slot. We do not hold empty ramps “just in case”.

  2. Leave notes, not speeches

Write the noise, the smell, or the last time it was on a lift. If it only happens when hot, say so. We read the card before the spanners come out.

  3. Collect with the sheet

You get what we found, what we fitted, and what can wait until the next oil change. No tablet theatre at the counter.

On the wall

Figures that belong on a job card

We opened on Herzl in 1998 and stayed a single independent bay. The number on the door is still the same street, the same early start, and the same rule: if we cannot do it properly, we say so before the car is in the air.

Bay rules that keep hands intact

This is a working pit and lift, not a waiting lounge with a glass wall. If you come in with the car, stay where we show you. The orange line is there because rams, oil and spinning shafts do not pause for a photograph.

Yellow line

Customers stay behind it while a car is raised.

No smoking

Fuel vapour and rags are not a debate.

Children

With an adult, off the pit boards, always.

Warning lamps

Tell us before we start — it changes the first test.

Personal parts

We fit customer parts only if they match the job sheet.

Saturday

Closed. Do not leave cars on the pavement overnight without a slot.

Open tool chest and hand tools used on daily services
Tools stay in the chest, not on the walkway

Ramp booking

Book a ramp, not a brochure

Call +972 3 964 2281 or write to bay@rishonbay.pro with the plate, the work you want, and whether the car can sit until afternoon. Friday slots fill first before a test week.
